Leadership Initiatives

  • Led the initiative PINK HOPE- to build a website to create awareness about breast cancer.

    Led a team, and managed work from them in various areas of the project, such as marketing, knowledge content, interviews, and gathering resources. Distributed responsibilities and took regular reviews to ensure work was completed.

  • Elected into the Student Council in my high school as a House Captain. Had to lead students of my House in preparation and participation in various events in school such as drama, speech, quizzes, sports, etc.

  • Was in charge of the Photography team in the Singapore International School MUN in 2019 and 2021.

  • In charge of photography for the monthly newsletter of my school (SIS) "Connexion".

  • Participated as delegate in MUN for 5 years since 2016.

  • Participated in TAUP MUN, 2018.

Swimming

 

  • Participated in district level events.

    Won gold in freestyle, breaststroke and the butterfly events in the District Swimming Organization Championships.

Music and Drama

 

  • Playing and learning Piano since 2016. Passed certificate Grade 5 by Trinity School London Piano Music Performance. Appearing for Grade 7 in Piano performance in May 2022.

  • Cleared Grade 5 Theory of Music of Trinity College London.

  • Cleared Grade 3 in Group Drama of Trinity College London.

  • Cleared Grade 2 in Individual Acting of Trinity College London.

Reading

 

  • I have read most books written by fiction writer Dan Brown. I like his usage of a historical city in his plots.

  • I like reading books related to the field of medicine. Read Complications by Dr Atul Gawande, Brain by Robin Cook, Genome by Matt Ridley amongst others.

  • I subscribe Time Magazine, New Scientist and New York Times.

Other Interests

 

  • I am an active fitness enthusiast.

  • Culinary- I explore and cook new dishes in Japanese and Korean Cuisines.

  • I am an avid traveler. I have visited more than 10 countries. Like to visit offbeat places.

  • I like to watch some TV series like Dr House, Grey’s Anatomy, The Simpsons and The Big Bang Theory amongst others.
